Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Stump were held Tuesday morning in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Carlile officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the flora tributes were Lester McClamroch, Fred witzer, Louis C., Darst, George Lane, Philip Dickerson and Bill Stump.  Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. Robert Middleton.  Mrs. Stump, wife of Paul Stump, former mayor of Crawfordsville, died Saturday morning in Wesley Manor at Frankfort.

Crawfordsville – Mrs. Myrtle (Voris) Stump,80, wife of former Crawfordsville Mayor Paul Stump died Saturday in Wesley Manor Methodist Home at Frankfort.  Mr. and Mrs. Stump had just moved from Crawfordsville to Wesley Manor two days before and planned to make their permanent residence there. Mrs. Stump had been in Culver Hospital here for three months before the move to Frankfort. Born at Indianapolis, she spent most of her life in Crawfordsville and was employed bhy the Ben Hur Life Association for 35 years before her retirement. She was married in 1919 and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. The husband is the only immediate survivor. The body was sent to Crawfordsville.
